ABOUT US
Turmar was established in 1984 with the specific aim of serving Turkish shipowners the survey and consultancy areas. In 1987, Turmar began business with customers from the USSR based in the Black Sea region.
Today, we are the leading ship supplier company in our region. Our business has developed to the point where we now offer a wide range of services to shipping companies with vessels not only in the Black Sea region but also worldwide.
Our main scope of business includes parts reconditioning, technical ship supply, ship spare parts supply, material supply, consultancy services, ship repair, and ship chandler services.
We have agreements with several shipping companies as an official supplier for their vessels trading in our region.
Leveraging our business relationships with our partners, we can assist you in providing and improving technical services for your vessels in our region and around the world.
We offer multilingual support in English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Turkish.
TURMAR is fully accredited with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards.

With over 60 years of maritime experience, I have held key positions as a Marine Chief Engineer, Superintendent, and Technical Director for both Turkish and foreign shipping companies. I graduated from the High Navigation School (Yüksek Denizcilik Okulu) in 1964.

(General Manager)
Naval Architect –
who has worked for 17 years as the Chief of the Technical Department at Odessa Ship Repair. Joined Turmar in 1996.

Earned a Bachelor's degree in Management from Clark University and a Master's degree from Harvard University. Became a part of Turmar in 2011.
