What about experience?

AMI Exchangers have been manufacturing marine and industrial heat exchangers for 20 years. In recent times, we became part of the multinational Diesel Marine International Group and we have benefited from significant investment. Our charge air cooler manufacturing plant is the most modern in the world enabling us to design and manufacture more than 500 units yearly.

Do we manufacture equivalent units?

We have accumulated an extensive database of drawing information over the years (over 11,000 drawings). We can normally identify the original coolers fitted to your engine from the smallest of detail such as vessel name, engine type and engine builder. We are a careful company. If there is any doubt regarding dimensions of the replacement unit, then it is quite normal for us to send one of our engineers almost anywhere in the world to survey the original unit to ensure full compatibility - often free of charge. This ensures no costly or time consuming installation problems. Our charge air coolers have been successfully used on the following turbo charged diesel engines:
