Load Testing

Cranes need to be tested regularly to guarantee they can be operated properly and used to safely load and unload cargo and finding a company that can provide these tests quickly and efficiently can be difficult. Turmar Marine also has a long history as one of the most reliable load testers and re-certifiers for all kinds of lifting appliances. Turmar has an extensive collection of approved, top of the line load testing equipment that is used to assess the stability and safety of lifting devices. Turmar uses water bags and load cells to assist in the testing process.

• STATIC tests are conducted on all crane types including cargo, provision and engine room as well as on derricks, having a maximum capacity of 15tons SWL using calibrated and certified dynamometers.
• DYNAMIC tests are also executed on all crane types including cargo, provision and engine room as well as on derricks, when their SWL exceeds 15tons capacity using special weights such as waterbags.
