To reach the same requested Minimal Breaking Load (MBL) of 60 tons you may use:
Left 12 strands Ultra High Strength mooring rope Dia:26 mm – weight 40 kg per 100 meters that means:
Nearly 6 time less weight than Polypropylene Dia:72 mm
Nearly 10 time less weight than Wire rope Dia:32 mm

Middle the same Ultra High Strength mooring rope braided into sleeve against weather and wearing Dia:28 mm – weight 50 kg per 100 meters that means:
Nearly 5 time less weight than Polypropylene Dia:72 mm
Nearly 8 time less weight than Wire rope Dia:32 mm

Right the same Ultra High Strength mooring rope braided by special tape against weather – wearing – low friction Dia:24 mm – weight 47 kg per 100 meters that means:
At 5 time less weight than Polypropylene Dia:72 mm
More than 8 time less weight than Wire rope Dia:32 mm

Secondly, for Towing ropes;
600 meters of Wire rope Dia:40 mm – MBL 102 tons – weight 600 kg per 100 meters
As per good maritime practice for Tugs which are continuously are in Towing operations such wire ropes to be changed every 3 months.
